Kyle Bunch is a seasoned marketing/agency professional with extensive experience in production (client management and internal project management), digital design & programming, sportswriting, and art & cultural projects.
Kyle is currently a Senior Producer at R/GA in New York City, working on interactive/digital marketing for Nike. While his involvement has primarily been focused on Nikebasketball.com, he currently provides strategic leadership across all of the Nike brand category work at R/GA.
Prior to joining R/GA, Kyle worked at Pinacol, a boutique digital agency based in Southern California, where he helped lead the company’s interactive strategy, user experience design and client services for brands such as Lexus, E!, Honda, Symantec, MTV, Kia, Discovery Channel, and the Coachella Music & Arts Festival. In addition to working closely with clients, Kyle also helped to develop a number of in-house proprietary solutions for workflow, intranet deployment, and content management.
More recently, Kyle collaborated with friend and fellow University of Southern California alumnus Jeremy Hermanns to launch SEO Intelligence — an application designed to help companies manage their search engine marketing campaigns and provide analytics and insights on search positioning. Kyle provided interaction & user experience design, creative direction, and marketing strategy to SEO Intelligence, which officially launched its product offering in April 2008.
Back in 2005, Kyle co-founded Blogebrity –- the site dedicated to covering the exploits of blogging’s A-list –- with Hermanns in 2005. The site promptly won the Technorati Prize in the first-ever Contagious Media Showdown. Since then, he’s served as Publisher and occasional Guest Editor on the Blogebrity blog, blogging about blogging with great aplomb. He also helped architect a new version of the site’s popular A/B/C/D-List, complete with user-generated content and voting elements.
Bunch satiates his appetite for sports and popular culture as Publisher of the RXSN network of sites, including TrojanWire, Spectorqular, Kobe4mvp, The Edge City Chronicle (currently on hiatus), White Dudes in Kangol Hats, Jose Canseco’s Pool Party, and the forthcoming Jockocracy.
Kyle is also a contributor at AOL’s FanHouse and a columnist for SCPLAYBOOK Magazine. At all three publications he covers a variety of subjects, with a focus on athletics at his alma mater, USC.
Moving pictures you ask? Oh yeah, Kyle’s gone there too. He’s currently developing the video series Upper Management, and has been developing several film and television concepts for screens ranging in size from 200 pixels to 200 feet.
If there’s any time left in the day, he also contributes to The Listen, a music blog he co-founded with his wife.
