I’m a native of The O.C. (the actual place), and I’d love to try and defend my hometown as being more than what is represented on the Fox television show. But then I read about someone SERIOUSLY proposing they rename the airport after the show, which, mind you, is only 27 episodes deep into its run.
And in the process, they’d give John Wayne, the man the Orange County Airport is currently named after, the boot.
All I can say, to Chris Norby, the man who proposed this, and to anyone who didn’t immediately dismiss it–The Ghost of The Duke is coming for you, and trust me, he is PISSED.
