After watching Bartolo Colon during Anaheim’s Sunday shelling by the Dodgers, I found it quite curious that we haven’t heard more about what a tremendous bust he has turned out to be. I’d imagine it is largely due to Vlad and Jose Guillen’s solid performances, overshadowing the bad side of Angels free agent class of ’04.
Whatever the case, yet another example of why giving big bucks to pitchers is risky business.
