Theo Van Gogh: Why does Hollywood not care?

by Kyle on November 30, 2004

Ok, Hollywood just got MAJORLY shamed this morning.  Sure, the good people of the entertainment industry are used to being on the defensive with the likes of Human Events Online….no big story there.

But when the columnist calling you out is none other than Mr. Wheel of Fortune himself, Pat Sajak, and he has a pretty damn good argument about Hollywood’s complete and utter silence after the brutal slaying of Dutch filmmaker Theo Van Gogh, then you’ve got to know that you’re in serious trouble.

I would tell you I’m shocked, but as he so accurately points out–we live in nutty times.  Need I remind you who the current Governor of my home state is?

Part of the reason is because Theo Van Gough has made several anti-semetic statements in his past. I am not saying this to propogate the myth that hollywood is made up and run by the jews, but.. simply to point out that he wasn’t a saint.

Yes something should have been said. You are right, but this might help explain why it was not.
