When ugly, nerdy guys take turns arguing over which is balder or nerdier.
Especially when both are talented writers who should be focusing on their respective strengths, not their "rivals" supposed weaknesses.
Wolcott, Podhoretz–you’re both hideously unattractive physical specimens. Wasting your time debating who wins the Ugly Derby is good for nothing, except a laugh for those of us watching.
