The Wall Street Journal’s reporting that Google’s big CES announcement is in fact video-related, as earlier suggested by Om Malik.
According to WSJ (via Reuters UK), Google will announce new video distribution partnerships (with content creators/distributors) and new software to enable rights-managed video to be purchased thru Google Video. The new software is supposedly called Google Pack. A check of pack.google.com finds that it is already live and redirecting to Google Accounts login.
