SpotRunner

I don’t want to gush too much until I actually try it…but at first glance, SpotRunner looks AWESOME.  How long before Google buys them, and assimilates their service into AdWords?

We’ll don’t gush until you read this. Spotrunner is not as efficient or as low cost as the agency that started it all, Cheap TV Spots. You can’t air nationally with Spotrunner, but you can with CheapTVSpots.com. Air anywhere and on any network with Cheap-TV-Spots.com. Spotrunner makes you buy air time only from them. Cheap-TV-Spots.com produces a true custom ad for a fraction of Spotrunner’s custom rate, and the CheapTVSpots.com air time cost less than Spotrunner air time, too. Cheap TV Spots will also make a web version available so you can e-mail it or post it on your web site. Spotrunner puts a distracting watermark across their versions. Cheap TV Spots also has a faster turnaround time. Google may incorporate Cheap TV Spots into AdWords because of Cheap-TV-Spots.com higher quality and national flexibility.

Actually Spot Runner has a growing base of National Customers as well local. Take another look, they keep getting better and better!

I think Spot Runner is a “miss.” Not even a near-miss.

Who would want to use their boilerplate commercials for a national campaign? It’s like going to a Hollywood bash in a tux you bought on sale at Wal-Mart – with the Wal-Mart tag still on it.

I think those Spot Runner guys are for small businesses who want to get smaller. Use a custom-made ad instead. They’re cheaper in the long run.
