The Superhero Pizza Guy / The Real-Life Dwight Schrute

PizzaheroIs there a word that fully describes the awesomeness of Cameron Evans, the pizza-delivering superhero

I really don’t think so.

While on duty at Galactic Pizza, a Minneapolis pizza shop that dresses its delivery people in superhero costumes, Evans saw a woman being mugged, and quickly responded to her cries for help.  He then proceeded to chase down the mugger and get the purse back.

As if that weren’t enough, check out this response to the question of "because you’re in a superhero costume, did that aid you in your pursuit of this assailant?" (from Harry Smith on CBS’s Early Show):

I don’t think I could’ve attain the necessary speed in my civilian gear.  The spandex really helps, it streamlines me, it makes me more aerodynamic.  It allows me to pursue evildoers at nearly twice the speed.

But the real reason I love this story — his Dwight Schrute resemblance is uncanny.  I know, he’s probably being more deliberate about his zeal, but it doesn’t matter.  The delivery was spot-on.  From this day forward, I am making it my personal mission to see
the writers of The Office work this into an episode.
