The Onion blooming next week in my neighborhood*

In front of the Los Feliz Post Office (Vermont, just S of Franklin)

According to my sources (their latest email newsletter), The L.A. print edition of The Onion comes to town on August 10 (not August 3 as the Media Kit would have you believe).  And I was pleased to discover yesterday that I’ll be able to walk right down the street here in Los Feliz to pick up a copy every week.

But just a warning — according to a note left on the box here in Los Feliz, the government may have sabotaged the entire operation.  I won’t begin to ponder the implications.  Government + satire?  Yikes.

* Sorry, I’m a sucker for Outback Steakhouse-related puns.  A condition in NO way helped by Harold Reynolds recent "inappropriate hug" taking place in said eatery.
