The Prestige

Year: 2006
Director: Christopher Nolan
Category: Drama
Media: Film
Rating: out of 5
It was good — Jackman, Bale and Michael Caine are good, Christopher Nolan obviously knows what he’s doing as a director and shows it here, and Scarlett Johansson’s brief time on screen is decent, though not particularly memorable in any way.
But — I don’t wanna give anything away here — but the ending sort of feels like a cop out. I’d love to discuss with anyone who’s seen it — some of the details revealed in the last act make you want to rewatch the movie — although…I just don’t know. There’s something that just didn’t sit quite right with me.
Go see it and tell me what you think.
