…that doesn’t totally suck nuts?
I’m finding that any Dreamhost-hosted WordPress site that I have loads VEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRY slow. Is there anyone who’s had a different experience, or am I just an idiot who needs to (a) stop bitching, (b) realize that yes, Dreamhost sucks, and (c) shell out whatever extra bucks to move to a Media Temple?
And follow-up question — is Media Temple going to be any better?
Sidenote: I write this as if anyone might read it….but I doubt any of you were lame enough to wait around 7 seconds for this page to load.
And should anyone at Dreamhost be reading this — I’ve given you guys the better part of a year to get stuff figured out; and yet things seem as slow today as they did in the heart of your supposed “tech meltdowns” that you wrote about earlier this year.
What gives?

Dreamhost can get slow once in a while. I haven’t tried Media Temple yet but have used Netfirms. So far their platform is loading fine. I used their offer in Nov Max PC issue: http://www.netfirms.com/maxnov
