Royal Claytons Pub

Price: 10 – 30 ($$)
Location:
1855 Industrial Street
Los Angeles, CA
Royal Claytons is a new restaurant/bar that labels itself as a ‘pub’ in the Artists’ District area of Downtown L.A. that’s enjoying such a resurgence right now.
With appetizing treats like Philly Cheesesteak Spring Rolls, and a full service bar, they’re a great spot for drinks with the crew. The dinner wasn’t totally perfect, but for the price, the Double Cut Pork Chop was tasty (it was more just the sides I wasn’t floored by).
Service was friendly, but had to work extra hard to be accomodating as various kitchen delays and supply issues led to some problems. But overall, the place has a great atmosphere, and is a really key addition to the rapidly-renovating Artist District.
Oh, and I’d be remiss if I didn’t thank J&E for picking up the tab. No doubt those fresh baked cookies taste a little sweeter when you’re not dealing with the bill.
